Galentine's Day began as a lighthearted celebration of female friendship, made popular by the hit TV show Parks and Recreation. In a now-iconic episode, the character Leslie Knope declared February 13 as a day for "ladies celebrating ladies." What started as a fictional holiday quickly became a real-life tradition, embraced nationwide as a way to honor friendships, support women-owned businesses, and enjoy a fun night out with your favorite people—no romantic relationship required.
